Network content filtering - if you enable it, then your internet connection to your Mac will get slower because Kaspersky will be checking every byte transferred over the network.

Kaspersky are very good at what they do but over the years some of the new features they have developed I have reservations about. Comodo used to be pretty decent to the point where the NSA referred to Comodo as "a giant pain in the posterior". I consider them to be the best AV since Comodo. On another note, I have used Kaspersky for years on my windows machines. No, your not going to get a free iPhone by clicking here. Premium on the other hand has real time scanning which I think is worth it and I think Malwarebytes Premium is the best overall if you don't want any impact on speed and have some level of common sense when browsing the internet / downloading files. It will not pick up malware in realtime, I tested this by downloading some malware samples to which Malwarebytes did nothing about them nor did it notify me. Only catch with Malwarebytes free is that it's unless you run a scan manually. If you are in the UK Natwest are giving you a subscription for free if you register for online banking. I find it's not intrusive and you can just forget about it once installed. Apple support always seem to recommend downloading Malwarebyte's free version if they think you might have malware running on your machine.
